Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling's Baby Showers

Actors Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling have already had two beautiful baby showers, and both were featured on Tori's reality show “Tori and Dean: Inn Love” that still has a very strong showing on Oxygen.

Since the couple already knew that they were going to be having a baby boy, the Elixir Tonic and Tea in West Hollywood was completely blanketed in blue. About fifty guests, including Tori's good friend Jennie Garth from Beverly Hills 90210 and Loni Anderson from So NoTORIous attended the couple’s baby shower held on a Saturday afternoon.

Mainly sponsored by Tupperware, which created a diaper “cake” made of diapers and Tupperware products like sippy cups, the baby shower was conceptualized by Jo Gartin, party planner of Love Luck and Angels.

Gartin decorated the baby shower in shades of blue, turquoise, and white. Since the baby's nursery was in turquoise blue and chocolate brown, touches were incorporated into the party. Hundreds of votive candles kept the place sparkling and blue glass lanterns provided the mood lighting. Turquoise vases held bouquets of pretty white amaryllis all over the room with chocolate brown teddy bears keeping watch over everything.

Guests stuck to a menu of comfort food, and no one was complaining! Blue Etch-a-Sketch trays cradled childhood memories in the form of tuna melts, grilled cheese sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, and mini corn dogs. An all-blue dessert menu featured treats like blueberry popsicles, blue cotton candy, and cakes covered with indigo icing.

The Silver Spoon put together a fabulous exclusive gift bag that included a designer baby blanket from InphantElefant, Too Faced Lip Injection, and a pearl bracelet worth about $600.

At her second baby shower, held at Le Petit Hotel in West Hollywood, the mood was definitely in the pink. The poolside shower (with the pool covered in a sea of pink and white beach balls) was put together by Sandra Magsaman of Messages from the Heart. The afternoon get together was a truly sweet one.

Each guest was asked to write down their wishes for the family and hang them onto a wishing tree that was prominently placed. Branches were held in a large cylindrical vase adorned with a hot-pink ribbon and ceramic plaques were provided for the guests in baby pink buckets. Surrounding the wishing tree were a group of adorable pink ceramic piggy banks holding pink rose blooms.

One of the favors at the shower were sweet little sugar cookies that were decorated as pink flip-flops, baby rattles, and onesies and had “Tori's Baby Shower” piped onto them.

Magsaman put together the gift baskets, too: white wicker baskets held ceramic plaques, photo frames, and a collection of baby toys that would be sure to delight any mom and definitely any baby that gets to play with them.

Hubby Dean picked up his wife after his own all-guys daddy baby shower.

To date, the couple has two very cute children: Liam Aaron, who was born in 2007, and Stella Doreen, who was born in 2008.
