Lemon Shrimp Skewers

This baby shower appetizer recipe for lemon shrimp make a savory treat for your baby shower party guests.


Ingredients –

3 cloves of garlic, chopped or mashed
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
1 tbsp honey
Salt & pepper to taste
1 pound of shrimps, 21 – 25 count per pound
Chopped parsley

Small bamboo skewers, soaked in water for about an hour

Mix the garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, honey, and salt & pepper in a medium bowl.
Peel, clean and devein shrimps.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat. Let marinade for at least 20 minutes.
Skewer 3 shrimps on each bamboo skewers and grill about 3-4 minutes each side until pink all the way through. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Arrange the skewers on a decorative platter and serve warm or at room temperature.

Makes about 8 shrimp skewers
