Baby Shower Alcoholic Drinks - Recipes and Ideas

Although the mom-to-be should not be drinking alcohol, she sometimes wants alcoholic drinks available to the guests at the baby shower. And sometimes the shower is held after the baby is born, in which case it is okay for the mom to drink. If the mom-to-be is okay with having alcohol at the baby shower, here are some ideas and recipes. Note that alcohol can often be eliminated or substituted for soda for a non-alcoholic version:

LIGHT PINA COLADA

2 cups light coconut milk
3 cups pinapple jc
2 cups crushed pineapple in its own juice
1 cup light rum
4 cups crushed ice
Sugar/Splenda to taste

Mix all the above ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a fancy glass and garnish with cherry and pineapple wedge.
